Foundation Routes

Foundation degrees combine work-based learning and academic study. You can do Foundation studies if you don’t quite have the right qualifications to start a three year degree immediately or if you want to gain more confidence in higher level work. Successful completion of a foundation programme gives automatic progression 

BEng (Hons) Aeronautical Engineering (Including Foundation Year)
If you don’t quite have the right qualifications to start our BEng (Hons) Aeronautical Engineering degree, you could opt to start your studies with a foundation year, where you'll study the engineering principles needed for an exciting career in the aircraft and aerospace industry.
BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Including Foundation Year)
The Foundation course in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is for people who don't have the right qualifications to start the three year Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree.
