The lighting design for a concert at Wembley or Madison Square Garden in the 1960s involved many hundreds of Parcans and a lot of power.
We now live in a world where audiences want a spectacle and something new when they attend an event, at the same time lighting designers are under pressure to reduce their carbon footprint. This module will develop your skills in programming lighting for festival stages and outdoor events using LED video walls and in excess of 100 moving lights.
It is essential that on entering the world of work after graduation you have the skills and knowledge that you can apply in your first job or assist you in developing your freelance career. Using high specification HD TV studios, theatres and conference spaces this module will enable you to work in a wide range of performance venues and sectors that you could enter upon graduation.
