This Business course will increase your knowledge of business planning and decision-making whilst developing team-working, goal-setting and project management skills.

Throughout the BA (Hons) Business and Management course, a variety of teaching and learning methods are used to simulate real life business experiences, for example developing and presenting a business idea. The assessment encourages creativity and enterprise alongside developing your management skills. The Business and Management course also develops problem solving, negotiation and presentation skills, all of which are highly valued in the workplace, and includes the study of management and business theory.

During the year, you will study five contemporary business modules with an emphasis on employability within today’s organisations.

*Business Planning
*Customer Service Excellence
*Employee Relations
*European Business Environment
*Strategic Management

Students will attend a combination of lectures and tutorials.

The course is taught across two terms – you will study 60 credits in each term. Generally, students will not need to attend more than three days per week.

You will be assessed through course work and examinations. Some course work is group-based and some examinations are open book, with others based on case studies.
