BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching

Are you passionate about pursuing a career in the sports coaching industry? The BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching degree is endorsed by Sports Coach UK and provides the ideal opportunity to gain an academic qualification while completing UKCC coaching qualifications.

Our Sports Coaching course has been designed in consultation with the National Governing Bodies of a range of sports and local authorities, to ensure it reflects current industry standards and developments. A distinct part of the course is the opportunity to gain invaluable coaching experience with a number of key partners, including the national governing body of your chosen sport, local authority or schools.

What you will study

The BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching course provides you with six modules per year with optional modules in your second and third years. These optional modules are provided to help you direct your studies in-line with your interests. Embedded within the practical modules you will have the chance to complete a series of leaders awards and coaching qualifications in a number of sports which will broaden your practical experience and knowledge.
