Did you know that Nike once catered almost exclusively to marathon runners? But they saw a fitness craze emerge and knew they needed a new approach – so the “Just Do It.” campaign was launched. The Nike ‘swoosh’ is now one of the most famous logos in the world and it’s all down to marketing.

This course will help you develop an extensive understanding of business and marketing through a combination of relevant and contemporary modules. You’ll have the opportunity to join the University’s Marketing Chapter and to network with members of the industry’s professional body, the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) − added extras that will give you a competitive advantage at job interviews.

Graduating from this course means you will be exempt from a number of the examinations needed for graduate gateway Membership of the CIM (MCIM), a recognised professional qualification that will improve your career prospects.

You’ll experience working with industry, either as a year-long sandwich placement, an internship or an employment experience project. This project module has input from employers, so you’ll know what is expected from you as a new graduate.
